    Shame is among the most painful & detrimental emotions one experiences in a lifetime. A sense of worthlessness or undeservingness to exist consume those afflicted by shame. The pivotal role of shame is seen in maladaptive experiences such as shyness, addiction, loneliness, persistent anxiety, low mood and interpersonal behaviors including appeasement, hiding discontent, affirming to partner abuse/neglect, violence and preoccupation/avoidance

    This workshop intends to help individuals understand shame in self and relationships, the experiences which may have played a role in shame overwhelming one’s experiences and strategies to address shame.

    The workshop is organised by Dr Mathai Fenn, Dr Nimesh George And Dr Gokul Ratakonda, all of whom are practising psychotherapists and psychologists.
