I am a working professional in my early 50s based out of Gurgaon. I like reading books in the genre non fiction, travel, historical fiction, Indian history, Art history and similar topics. I am a member of a book club where we write short reviews of the books we read and share. In last two years I have read close to 60 books in which the real stand out authors I liked are Dervlaa Murphy, Elif Shafaq, Deborah Levy, Giles Tillotson, Stephen Alter, Herman Hesse, Navtej Sarna, Marcus du Sautoy, Richard Ford etc. Some I have discovered in the last two years and some are eternal favorites like Haruki Murakami, Pico Iyer etc.
