Atta Galatta is hosting the launch of Lakshmi's Little Bird, the first picture book by illustrator-author Sharanya Kunnath on the 28th of July at 12:30 PM.

All Lakshmi wants is a bird buddy – her very own pakshi.

After all, every cow has a bird. That's what her Amma says.

One by one, many birds come, but they don't stay. With a skip in her step and a twinkle in her eye, Lakshmi waits…

Until one day, there is a flutter of wings and a burst of laughter... A chatty, chirpy bird comes her way. Will this one stay?

Will Lakshmi finally find her forever friend?

Bring along your children, nieces, nephews or friends (aged 5 and up) and join in for a reading of the book followed by a fun drawing activity, and then a book signing at 13:30. Adults are also welcome to attend. Make sure you dress in your best blue, yellow or pink clothes and bring along color pencils/crayons and paper.
