About Natasha Sharma:
Natasha Sharma is an award-winning children’s book author, whose childhood had crazy episodes, featuring dogs, rabbits, ducks, guinea pigs, horses, buffaloes, and the occasional squirrel, all in her backyard. She likes change, diversity and a sense of adventure in her work. She has written twenty-five books across genres ranging from picture books, early chapter books, early to middle-grade historical fiction, graphic novels, and poems and stories in anthologies. She has conducted over 250 author interaction sessions with children. Natasha has spoken at the Jaipur Literature festival, the Sharjah Lit Fest, Kala Ghoda Lit Fest and Bookaroo amongst other platforms.
Her book Shah Jahan and the Ruby Robber was awarded the Comic-Con India Best Illustrated Children’s Book, 2018, Razia and the Pesky Presents was awarded the South Asia Book Award Honour, 2016 and Bonkers! won the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award, 2014 for Asia and the Middle East.
She is a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators).
Though she considered being a veterinarian or an architect, she graduated in Math, did an MBA, worked as a brand manager, and is now happily doing what she loves most--writing books for children.
