About Shreedevi Sunil:
Shreedevi Sunil is the Founder and Chief Storyteller at Talking Turtles Storytellers. Her energy is infectious, just ask her puppets!! Her puppets tell folk stories and fairytales, myths and legends, improvised tales, international wonder tales at storytelling sessions. Shreedevi shares her love of story with children and adults through dynamic, theatrical performances and puppetry. Over the last decade she has performed over 500 puppet shows. She has been invited by Pan MacMillan Publishers to perform the contemporary children's classic, The Gruffalo ,at The Royal Opera House,Mumbai. Where she performed a musical theatrical rendition for over 700 children & families. She has performed at festivals both within India & Internationally. She enjoys bringing the magic of story into classrooms and cafes, theaters and libraries, and sharing the joy with audiences big or small. She has told stories throughout India with Talking Turtles Storytellers company and now uses her storytelling & puppetry in education, corporate skill building & theater for children. When the pandemic kicked in, she adapted her puppetry act to fit a screen mode, Offering a large repertoire of stories performed through this medium. Since April 2019, has performed over 250 online shows & facilitated over 50 workshops. She has also performed for leading Indian publishers such as Oxford, Pegasus, Karadi Tales etc Currently we are travelling across India, with storytelling & puppetry performances & Skill development workshops.
