Sunil Upasana is a Malayalam writer. Born in Thrissur, Kerala, he has authored four books including two short story collections and a work on Indian philosophy. His debut book earned the prestigious Kerala Sahitya Academy Award in 2016. Sunil holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Philosophy and has a deep-seated interest in Indian philosophy. He currently works as an IT Engineer while continuing his literary pursuits. He is partially hearing disabled since he was twelve years of age.
